Guest Testimonial Lori – California January 2013 5 Star Fishing Lodge Our group of 6 had the pleasure of staying at Owen River lodge in January 2013. The 3 women in the group were a bit sceptical about a 5 day stay at a fishing lodge. Let me say that the owner Felix and his staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a fantastic vacation. The men in the group commented that it was some of the "best fishing ever." The individual cabins for guests are absolutely incredible with fantastic views of the river and mountains. Chef Ryan's meals and Felix' wine selection are second to none. We look forward to our next Owen River lodge visit. This is a MUST when you are visiting New Zealand. Lori more reviews.. |

The 6 purpose built guest cottage suites at Owen River Lodge were designed with the angler and non-angler in mind.
They are located in the garden a short stroll from the main lodge building.
These luxuriously appointed guest cottage suites enjoy stunning views of the river, the valley and the Kahurangi national park, with the delightful sound of the Owen river in the background. |

| Each of our accommodation suites can be
configured with either a king-size double bed or twin single beds. We have 6 cottage suites, giving us a total capacity of 12 guests.
The guest cottage suites at Owen River Lodge feature fine art works and 100 year old recycled Oregon beams and woodwork. Their design emphasises light and space, accentuated by the soaring cathedral type ceiling. | |||

All of the accommodation suites are equipped with reverse cycle air conditioning, an electronic safe, ironing facilities,
an alarm clock, mini bar – stocked with complimentary soft drinks & premium fruit juices and tea & coffee making facilities.
All guest cottage suites have an en suite bathroom equipped with oversized towels, bathrobes, a hairdryer and, of course, shower gels, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner. |

| Spacious verandas provide a great location for a late afternoon reading session as the sound of the river murmurs up from below.
Alternatively, you can watch for rising trout, or just soak up the breath-taking views. | |||
